HOUSTON

I went to visit some family in Houston/audition for a few days this week. It was so much fun! I love being around family and just being able to relax and enjoy their company. My aunt and uncle recently moved back to Houston so my other aunt drove down there with me and we got to see their new house. We even got to help cook for a party my Aunt Lori was having and Missy and I enjoyed her wonderful margaritas....maybe a few too many. But hey....I was on vacation! :)

The morning before we left Vance (my uncle) asked me to play the Jaws theme on my bassoon. Here are some videos of what that developed into. It was pretty entertaining.

Vance recently picked up the pool table from my grandparent's house. They'd been storing it for him in their garage for years and he was finally able to take it back. I used to play on it a lot when I was little. Not so much shooting pool with a cue stick, but more just rolling them back and forth. But I'm getting better. I mean.....check out this form!

My cousin, Tiffany, flew in on Friday

so I also got to spend some time with her.
